Are your teachers really qualified in Fiqah Jafria?
Yes. Every teacher at Shia Online Quran Center UK is a practising Shia Muslim educated in Fiqah Jafria. They are experienced in teaching Quran, Namaz, and Ahkaam according to the methods of Ahlul Bayt (A.S.). We do not employ teachers from other schools of thought.
My child has never learned Arabic before. Can they start from scratch?
Absolutely. Our Basic Noorani Qaida course is designed for complete beginners. We accept students from age 4 onwards. The teacher will start from the very first Arabic letter and progress at the student’s comfortable pace.
Can adult women take classes with a female teacher?
Yes. We have qualified female Fiqah Jafria teachers available for female students of all ages. When you register, simply mention your preference for a female teacher and we will arrange accordingly.
What technology do I need for the classes?
You only need a smartphone, tablet, or laptop with Skype installed, a stable internet connection, and a quiet environment. Classes are conducted via Skype video call, which is free to use.
What UK cities do you serve?
We serve the entire United Kingdom – London, Birmingham, Manchester, Leicester, Liverpool, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Cardiff, and everywhere in between. Since classes are online, your location does not matter.
How do I book the free trial classes?
Simply fill in the registration form on our website with your name, email, phone number, preferred days and UK time, and a brief note about the student’s age and previous learning. We will contact you within 24 hours to schedule the first trial class.
Which Marja’s Ahkaam do you follow for Namaz?
Our teachers are knowledgeable in the Ahkaam of all major Shia Marjas, including Ayatullah Sistani and Ayatullah Khamenei. When you register, let us know which Marja your family follows so the teacher can teach accordingly.
Can I choose which days and times my classes are held?
Yes. You select a suitable time and day for classes at your convenience, and our team will match you with a teacher available at that time.
Is there a minimum number of classes I have to commit to?
No. You can start with a free trial (3 or 5 days depending on the plan) before deciding whether to continue on a monthly basis. See our Courses & Pricing page for current plans.
